I started YouTube in 2020, when I came across Fortnite (video game) modding for the first time. I thought what I had just figured out was so incredible, I had to share it with the world. I started making this content, and it slowly took off. My channel got accepted into the partner program around 5K+ subs, but I faced many monetization problems. My channel on the road to 100K subscribers also frequently faced periods of stagnation, sometimes due to my videos getting demonetized, restricted, and even copyrighted by Epic Games on multiple occasions. I importantly learned how to identify opportunities, and how to capitalize off of them to the fullest extent possible.
Due to how frequently I would get demonetized, get restricted, get striked by YouTube / Mod Creators / Epic Games, have my accounts (literally every single one except my YouTube channel) hacked, and having my discord server nuked an unfathomable amount of times, I learned yet another insanely useful skill: How to relentlessly put up with inconveniences and push on; even if it seemed like my tiny YouTube venture was over. One of the things I was exceptionally brilliant at was external monetization, which I did through link advertising, having a creator code, and also taking paid promotions. Using Sub-to-unlock links, viewers who wanted to follow along with my tutorials had to subscribe to get my mods.
I also around this time expanded to run 3 channels, including the original Fortnite one. I was able to get all of them to over 100,00 subscribers, and have them all be fully monetized and verified. My original gaming channel was the hardest since it has 100K+ subscribers from LONG FORM content (some extra from shorts too) and was incredibly difficult to grow on at some points. I started to run CPA and CPI campaigns across my channels, and this is when I started to truly achieve financial abundance. I had already been blessed well beyond age, but this is when I made above what even a full time income would look like. (Image is a single-day ALL PROFIT source).
Even at age 13, I developed the ability to network with people way above my level. I worked with Morgz (12M+ Subscribers on YouTube) for a short duration of time when he was running a channel called "Morgz Live". I then started to run and manage other channels and their content production cycles. Around this time, I lost interest in Fortnite and even video games as a whole after my original channel got 100K+ Subs. While continuing to grow my exponentially-increasing network of channels, I started to care more about business and finance more. Since I had been developing communication skills all along, this enhanced both my personal videos and my ability to sell people ideas. I maximized my affiliate link campaigns to be as efficient and sophisticated as possible. This further in turn caused me to have an active income, as previously with my gaming content, it was passive due to my content being "search based". Once I mastered the algorithm I scaled my network further.
After 5 years of doing YouTube, I have been able to replicate my success many times and share tips and tricks for free on my social media regarding YouTube growth. I still run and manage a large network of channels, and help others grow on YouTube. Everything I have learned both about the platform and people has contributed to the great knowledge I have today in digital media, marketing, and finance. Creating a business off of YouTube transformed my life, and still continues to do so today. I have had many low points throughout this time, but failure and hardship breeds discipline and excellence.
